Hello sir!
It's been a looooong while, but I'll never forget any of the things I've learned from you! You are the one who molded me into the poet that I am today, and with every moment that I improve on my writing and spittin, I silently thank you for showing me the ropes in a way that allows for continued improvement. Hope everything is going great with you and your family. Congrats on your success, and keep it up! (By the way, I met that poet girl, and I'm great friends with her sister...talk about a small world! lol). You have taught me lots and helped me to turn my like for poetry into a love and passion. Thank you. Thank you. And, thank you!
P.S. Thank you!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I am proud of your continued success. I will admit that I haven't been an constant follower up until today. I stumbled upon a photo of you on the Java and Jazz website. Unlike the others posted here I didn't know that you were a world renowned poet, musician, photographer or the like. No offense to you or your fans . I would just like to say at this time, that I am very proud of you and keep up the good work. The last time I was in contact with you, you had just had your first son and was happily in love. I am so happy for you and your family. God is good. You probably don't remember me from back in the day, and it has been along time so that is understandable. We used to work together at a retail store in Oak Park (not to mention names to exploit your business) and I used to live around the corner from you and your grandpa on a street that began with and I. Thank you for all the rides to and from work, if I never mentioned it I appreaciated that. Thanks for being a good friend, and for always being dependable. By the way sorry, I am sorry to hear about your grandpa, I know how close you two were. Well keep doing what you are doing. Thank you for being such a positive role model.
God Bless you and your family

Hello Kahn, I read your poem and bio in The Baltimore Review and came here to read more of your poetry - love them! You have such an incredible, unique "voice". I am also a writer from the Detroit area (originally Flint). An excerpt from my unpublished novel was recently featured in the Detroit Free Press and I am currently looking for an agent. But I am wondering if you could tell me more about Detroit Impact Community Center? I am a former journalist/communication specialist and am looking for either part-time or volunteer work in the writing field. I will definately look for you on the poetry circuit. If you would like to read some of my work, I have posted some short stories, a poem and some essays at www.moc.gather.com. Best of luck! Melissa Olson Cunningham

Me and a friend of mines gave a pre-Mother's Day dinner on Sat. 5/6/06 for a few of our close friends, co-workers and family and we invited Kahn to our event and share some of his words. I want to say that he was GREAT....we all enjoyed him. I was never really one that was into spoken word but I was able to relate to alot of the things that said. Some of the people that was at the party is still talking about your performance...although you was only there for about 30 mins. you left a lasting impression on everyone!!!!!
Thank you and we will be calling you again.

mr. kahn, Kudos to you! I throughly enjoyed seeing you perform @ the Max for the Slam Finals on 4/21. I've also had an opportunity to check out your photography site...the photos (Christina, Piph, Versiz, Tom) are all beautifull & extremly creative!!! I love the barefoot, natural essence that radiates within each shot. You have a great eye for capturing unique shots - the photo gallery is slamming. Keep doing what you do! peace.
